Performance and specifications
A steward ensures the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times. A steward will maintain a proper level of clean inventory with a high standard of cleanliness according to the sanitation code.
Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order
Check all chemical levels and inventory
Adhere to sanitation guidelines and dispose of waste
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Monitor proper tank temperature and chemicals
Record all breakage
Complete day-end dishwasher maintenance;
Clean all soiled items
Dispose of all broken items in the proper area
Assist the kitchen team as needed
Experience: Previous stewarding experience required.
Education: The ideal candidates will have a high school degree
Core competencies: Detail oriented, ability to work quickly and efficiently, ability to work as part of a team.
Capable working effectively under pressure
