RESPONSILITIES:
1) Collaborate with other departments as necessary to meet customer requirements, to take advantage of sales opportunities or, in the case of shortages, to minimize negative impacts on a business.
2) Develop an understanding of customers' needs, and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
3) Explain proposed solutions to customers, management, or other interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations.
4) Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.
5) Manage subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals, developing performance specifications, and serving as liaisons between subcontractors and organizations.
6) Protect and control proprietary materials.
7) Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
8) Support the development of training materials and technical manuals.
9) Develop and implement technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices.

1) Complex Problem Solving -- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
2) Time Management -- Managing one's own time and the time of others.
3) Speaking -- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
4) Coordination -- Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
5) Judgment and Decision Making -- Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
6) Systems Analysis -- Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
7) Service Orientation -- Actively looking for ways to help people.
8) Management of Personnel Resources -- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
9) Social Perceptiveness -- Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
10) Active Learning -- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
